19.11.14 Mitsubishi Motors to deliver 23 i-MiEVs to the Carabinieri '200 anni di futuro'*

Mitsubishi Motors' Italian Distributor, M.M. Automobili Italia Spa (MMAI), has just announced the delivery of 23 i-MiEV electric cars to the Carabinieri as Italy's military police forces intends to carry on with their duties - well recognized and appreciated throughout the country for over 200 years now - in a sustainable manner. 

In the footsteps of other Mitsubishi i-MiEVs already in active service with police forces in Japan (Kanagawa Prefecture), In Hong Kong, in Spain or in the UK, these Italian i-MiEVs in full Carabinieri livery will enter service in the historic centers of large cities, in islands as well as in the zero-emission area of the "2015 Expo" in Milan.

Since launch end of CY10, 5,590 Mitsubishi i-MiEVs have been sold in Europe (to June 2014).
